Trying to get this thing going again. And by thing I mean both this blog and my running. For some reason lately I've been struggling with motivation. I think its a combination of the depressing winter weather, struggling with small injuries/illness lately and not running a personal best since August 2013. Yet I will forge on with the hopes of success down the road.
Right now, I only really have one specific short term goal I am working towards; the Downtown 5k on April 3rd. It is still about 2.5 months away, but I would like to at least PB (16:32) and if all goes well from now until then, sub 16 should be in the cards. So to counteract my current struggle with motivation, I am going to post training notes here for a little while to hold myself accountable to whoever decides to reads this. Enjoy.
